In case you have to notice SpikeTV features a new series entitled the Deadliest Warrior. The show is set to test the skills and weapons of warriors throughout history and place them in a simulator to determine the greatest warrior of all-time.
At first glance the show seems pretty cheesy but after giving the series I chance I came to the realization that it is in fact very cool. The battles and attitude of some of the cast can be kinda lame but the data and scientific information they reveal is awesome.
The first episode I watched involved a Roman gladiator and a Apache warrior. Displaying a wide array of weaponry the Apache was ultimately the victor on this episode. The most interesting segments were when an Apache club was shown to literally smash a human skull to dust and when Chuck Liddell used a gloved weapon to nearly cleave a cow carcass in half.
